DMX began rapping from the mid 1990s. In May 1998 he recorded his debut album called It's Dark and HOT. He released many albums over time, such as... And then There was X... Again The Redemption of the Beast grand champ... The Great Depression Year of the Dog... The album ... And Then There Was X was also nominated for an Grammy in the Best Rap Album category in 2001. As well as his rap career, he has appeared in films like Lords of the Street Belly Top Five Excit Wounds Always Die Alone, Never Die alone bleeding Romeo Will Die Backstage Beyond the Law Lockjaw The Rise of the Kulev Serpent and Fast and Fierce Death Race.
