Christopher Peter Meloni has been known as a well-known American actor for a number of years. Most famously, he is known for the roles he was in "Law & the Special Victims Unit". Meloni discovered his passion for acting during his time in the college classroom and then studied acting at the University of Colorado at Boulder. His characters in television are gaining him lots of attention. The actor is able to portray characters of both the good and bad sides in the law enforcement system. He is able attract the attention of his audience easily. He portrayed the role of a serial killer in the first TV series he appeared in but later went on to play the role of an NYPD detective. Numerous times, he was nominated for both the prestigious Emmy Awards, and the PRISM Awards. His piercing blue eyes his face have been deemed as the most captivating characteristic. The eyes have been employed to portray rough characters and give them charisma. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
