Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. She was awarded the highest number of awards for her performance in the roles of Layla Grant and Claudia Shepard, respectively in Nashville (2012). The actress also played the main role as Jerrica Jem Benton in the feature film Jem and the Holograms (2015). Aubrey Peeples is the daughter of Wendy and Ashley Peeples. Her younger sister is Ally. Growing up Aubrey was a part of the Orlando Repertory Theatre for ten years. She was valedictory of the 2012 class. Harvard University admitted her, however she had to decide to her admission twice in order for her role in Nashville. Peeples made an appearance on the screen in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) and Grey's Anatomy (2005) as in Grey's Anatomy (2005). She also had a recurring character in Necessary Rustness (1991). She also appeared in TV movies Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective (2009 and The Good Mother). In the second season of The Good Mother, she was cast as Layla Grant in the Nashville drama. In 2019 Peeples acknowledged having bipolar disorder during an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples among the most talented actors younger than 20 in September of 2014.
